Job Description: The St. Cloud Area
Planning Organization (APO) is seeking a
motivated individual to assist with
development of long-range transportation
plans, transit coordination, coordination of
environmental studies and project
development, plus a wide variety of other
transportation related activities. The
position involves active interaction with
elected officials, staff of local
jurisdictions, State and
Federal agency officials and members
of the public. The position requires: a
degree in
transportation planning or a related
field; excellent analytical and
communication skills; the ability to
prepare/present clear and definitive
technical reports; and proficiency with
standard computer applications. Working
knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
(GIS) software is desired but not required.
Starting salary is $44,000 to $50,000
(DOQ) with excellent benefits package.

The City of Oak Grove, MN (pop. 8,433),
located approximately 27 miles north of
downtown Minneapolis, is seeking an
experienced City Planner to lead and direct
its Planning Department. The City Planner
is a highly responsible professional
planning position in charge of all aspects
of long-range and current planning
activities, preparation of staff reports
dealing with planning-related requests,
detailed work in connection
with the preparation of comprehensive
studies and reports, zoning and ordinance
administration and enforcement. The City
Planner is responsible for the supervision

This position is responsible for the

The City of Waite Park, MN is requesting
proposals to complete an alternative scoping
process and state/federal review for the
10th/ 2nd Avenue corridor from 3rd Street
North to
Stearns County Road 6. The goal of
this project is that an
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
Scoping Document and Scoping Decision
Document be completed to evaluate
alternatives for the proposed 10th/ 2nd
Avenue corridor from 3rd Street
North to Stearns County Road 6 as mandated
by
National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
and the
Minnesota
Environmental Policy Act (MEPA)
guidance. Alternatives recommended from
this scoping process will be evaluated in a

Biomedical Facilities
Program Development Director-
University of MN
The University of Minnesota seeks a leader
to provide coordination and oversight for a
significant expansion of its Twin Cities
campus.
The Project:
Four new biomedical facilities are being
designed and constructed through the
Minnesota Biomedical Research Program. The
facilities are of critical importance to the
University’s work in the health sciences and
to economic development in the state. Total
project expenditures for buildings and
related infrastructure are estimated at over
300 million dollars. The biomedical
facilities are part of the East Gateway
District, the
single largest expansion of campus since the
1960’s.
The Position:
The Director will be a key contributor in
creating the physical spaces and features
for this new campus community. The position
will be responsible for leading all project
activities related to the design and
construction of the research facilities.
This position requires an accomplished
professional with significant experience
developing, planning, and managing large and
complex, public projects. In addition,
candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in
management, construction, architecture,
engineering, business, or a closely related
field; at least ten years of experience in
project management; and at least eight years
of experience successfully leading,
managing,
and directing the activities of others.
